Sorry, we've missed a few months!

Grant is almost 5 months now. It's gone by so fast! He's getting so big now too, over 15 pounds and 26 inches long! He really is a joy too! He's a pretty happy little boy, most of the time. He has just recently discovered that he can scream, so that is now what he does when he gets mad, which is usually every afternoon just before naptime or when he wants attention and mommy is busy. He's gone down for his nap early the last couple of days.

Two and a half months

Here are some pics of our happy little boy! We are starting to get used to things around here. The last two months have been a challenge, but a very rewarding challenge! We are all learning so much, Grant is even starting to learn how to sleep through the night! He has done it twice this week! And he has started smiling alot more lately too. Especially when he's getting his diaper changed and when he has crib time with his mobile on, he loves that thing! He's been flirting a little too, he's quite the ladies man!

Grant's first trip to Florida

A couple of weeks ago we took our first trip down to Gainesville since Grant was born. It was so great to spend time with my family and to introduce Grant to family and friends that had not seen him yet. He also got to meet his cousin Ethan for the first time! Ethan was so sweet with him, he is going to make a great big brother in September (or October). For all of the friends we didn't get to see, we will be back in a couple of weeks and Grant and I will be in town for a whole week, so hopefully we will see you then!

Weekend Visitors

My brother Eric and his girlfriend Jamie were in town this weekend to see Grant. This was the first time Eric was able to meet him so we were all really excited. We had such a great time and Jamie was a big help with Grant, she would walk around and bounce him whenever he got fussy! It was nice for Drew and I to have someone else to do that at night! Eric's birthday is in a couple of days, so on Friday night we made him a birthday dinner; steak, corn, baked potatoes and homemade ice cream! Eric had the idea to put chopped up Snickers in the ice cream, it was delicious! On Saturday night we went to downtown Smyrna for a free concert with Erin and Clint. We had a great time and the weather was perfect! Thanks for comming to see us Eric and Jamie, hopefully we will see you again soon!

The Many Faces of Grant

I just had to get a picture of this, my boys doing what they do best! Grant is just like his daddy, all he wants to do is eat and sleep! Not to mention that he looks just like him too!

My First Mothers Day

I had a wonderful first Mothers Day! Drew made waffles for mom and I, she had chocolate chip and I had blueberry. They were delish! I also got two sweet cards from my boys, flowers (Drew arranged them himself), and a new purse! But best of all, I got to spend time with my little boy! All in all a great day!
