Baby update

Well, I went to the specialist yesterday and everything is looking good for the most part. There is one issue that I would ask for prayer on though. My placenta is low, so I was diagnosed with placenta previa. The doctor is pretty certain that it will move, but if not I will have to have a C-Section, which I don't want! He did ok me to go to Gainesville in a couple of weeks, but no travel after that, and he put me on pelvic rest (poor Drew). Everything is fine so far though, no bleeding or anything, so that is great! And Grant is healthy! Actually, he's growing a little too well, they said he weighs 3 pounds 13 ounces which is quite a bit above average according to the doctor and all of the resources I have. He's is on his way to being a huge baby!

29 weeks and growing

Well, we're in the home stretch! Just went to the doctor last week, and everything is going well, my bloodwork came in and my titers had not changed (still 1:1 like we want), and I passed my glucose screening! I'm now done with work and at home all day, so if any of my Georgia friends want to hang out I'm probably free! Today was my first day home and it has been very productive. I was worried that I may try to sleep in and just watch tv all day, but I have gotten quite a bit done today, and there is plenty left for the rest of the week! Well, that's all I have for now, got to go finish the laundry!

Grant's first outfits and belly pics

So I was at Target a while ago and found these cute Georgia Tech onsies on sale. I couldn't resist, plus I know Drew would be so happy to know that Grant's first outfit was Georgia Tech. Well, when my mother found out about this, she decided that he just had to have Gator onsies too. So as you can see, Grant is already well stocked for football season next year!
On another note, I have had a few requests for belly pics. So here's the big ol' belly at 22 weeks.

Smores Night

Drew and I had a little discussion the other night as to wether or not smores were any good in the microwave. I had bought all the ingredients, but it was raining so we couldn't go outside and use the fire pit. He suggested we just put them in the microwave, I turn up my nose. After he made one for himself, I just had to try them. While not as good as they are over an actual fire, they were quite tasty, and a whole lot of fun. We both ended up with chocolate and marshmallow all over our faces.

Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails

That's right, it's a boy! We actually found out a while ago so most everyone knows already, but I figured I'd update this anyway. I am now 22 weeks, over half way! We had another ultrasound on Wednesday. It is amazing how much clearer everything was after only four weeks. Everything is going well and he is right on track with my due date (May 16th). Although, I still think he is going to be pretty big. She said that he weighs 1lb. 2oz. right now. He is very active, so we didn't get the best ultrasound pictures, but I will attach what we have. She (the ultrasound tech) kept saying "Oh, look at that sweet little face." Drew and I later had a laugh about that, I was thinking he looked like Skeletor and Drew thinks he still kinda looks like an alien. Of course, being our first baby, we still don't really know what we are looking at until she tells us. Anyway, here are the newest pictures of Grant Christopher Freeman!

And Baby Makes Three

Just in case anyone out there is still out of the loop, I'm pregnant! 12 weeks right now to be exact. I've had a few bad days, but overall this first trimester hasn't been too bad. Drew has been very helpful. Since I usually feel the worst in the late afternoons to evenings, he has been making most of our dinners (and the ones I've been able to eat have been quite delicious). That's really all there is to report right now, I go to the doctor again on Monday, so hopefully I'll have an update then. As for now, I'll leave you with our first picture of the little Freeman peanut.

OOPS!

Okay, so these pictures have been sitting in my drafts just waiting to be posted for a couple of months now. I had intended to post about our 1st anniversary, loaded the pictures, got distracted and then forgot about it altogether. Anyway, here is what I intended to post on August 25th.

Our first year of marriage has been absolutely wonderful! We have certainly had our ups and downs, but I really thought the first year would be harder. God has truely blessed us! We have seen so many evidences of His grace in each of our lives through our marriage. I cannot believe how lucky I am to be married to such a Godly man!
