Grant Christopher Freeman
Our little man is here! He arrived Monday May 4th at 10:09am weighing 8.0 lbs and measuring 20.25". We came home from the hospital on Thursday and everything is going well. Once we got home from the hospital we had a little scare, it was looking like I might have strep throat. We called all of our doctors right away and I was able to get in that afternoon to see my primary care doctor. Luckily it was not strep, just yeast. Now I just can't kiss on him until I finish my medicine, which is very hard because he's just so kissable. Otherwise, we are doing pretty well. My mom is here for another week, so Drew and I have actually been able to get some sleep. He actually sleeps pretty well at night anyway though, I just have to check on him with every noise he makes. I am doing better with that though, since I am starting to figure out all of his noises and know which ones I actually need to check on. I'm recovering pretty well also, I over did it a little yesterday, so mom is making sure I take naps and don't try to do to much today. All in all, things are going quite well. We are loving our new little man!

Overdue update
Well, I really thought that I would post a lot more now that I'm not working, but I guess I'm just not very good at this. So, as I mentioned in the last update I have a partial placenta previa. We saw the specialist twice since we first found out about it hoping it would move, but unfortunately it did not. So, we will be meeting Grant a little earlier than expected. We have a c-section scheduled for Monday morning at 9:00. Please continue praying for us, God has really given me peace throughout everything, but I'm still a little nervous; excited, but nervous! Even with this big ol' belly, it's still hard to believe that I'll be holding my little boy in just a few days! Well, I've got to go get ready now, Drew and I are going on our final date night before Grant arrives!

Baby update
Well, I went to the specialist yesterday and everything is looking good for the most part. There is one issue that I would ask for prayer on though. My placenta is low, so I was diagnosed with placenta previa. The doctor is pretty certain that it will move, but if not I will have to have a C-Section, which I don't want! He did ok me to go to Gainesville in a couple of weeks, but no travel after that, and he put me on pelvic rest (poor Drew). Everything is fine so far though, no bleeding or anything, so that is great! And Grant is healthy! Actually, he's growing a little too well, they said he weighs 3 pounds 13 ounces which is quite a bit above average according to the doctor and all of the resources I have. He's is on his way to being a huge baby!

Grant's first outfits and belly pics
So I was at Target a while ago and found these cute Georgia Tech onsies on sale. I couldn't resist, plus I know Drew would be so happy to know that Grant's first outfit was Georgia Tech. Well, when my mother found out about this, she decided that he just had to have Gator onsies too. So as you can see, Grant is already well stocked for football season next year!
Smores Night
Drew and I had a little discussion the other night as to wether or not smores were any good in the microwave. I had bought all the ingredients, but it was raining so we couldn't go outside and use the fire pit. He suggested we just put them in the microwave, I turn up my nose. After he made one for himself, I just had to try them. While not as good as they are over an actual fire, they were quite tasty, and a whole lot of fun. We both ended up with chocolate and marshmallow all over our faces.

Snakes and snails and puppy dog tails
That's right, it's a boy! We actually found out a while ago so most everyone knows already, but I figured I'd update this anyway. I am now 22 weeks, over half way! We had another ultrasound on Wednesday. It is amazing how much clearer everything was after only four weeks. Everything is going well and he is right on track with my due date (May 16th). Although, I still think he is going to be pretty big. She said that he weighs 1lb. 2oz. right now. He is very active, so we didn't get the best ultrasound pictures, but I will attach what we have. She (the ultrasound tech) kept saying "Oh, look at that sweet little face." Drew and I later had a laugh about that, I was thinking he looked like Skeletor and Drew thinks he still kinda looks like an alien. Of course, being our first baby, we still don't really know what we are looking at until she tells us. Anyway, here are the newest pictures of Grant Christopher Freeman!
